私の 大好物 whipped, flavoured butters. They really add something special to anything you use them on. And this cinnamon sugar butter is no exception. It has the perfect touch of spice and sweetness. This butter couldn't be easier to make, with just 4 simple ingredients. And it takes just 5 minutes!
And it's so fluffy and just begging to be slathered on toast, breakfast treats, muffins, or freshly baked bread.

- 無塩バター - American butter is great in this recipe, but European butter is even better. European butters have a slightly higher fat content and a lower water content than American butters. This makes them creamier, yellower in colour, and more flavourful. If you can get your hands on some Irish butter, it is the best.
- ライトブラウンシュガー - I made this recipe to be lightly sweet, just how I like it. Do you want yours to be sweeter? You can add a bit more or less sugar to sweeten it to your preference.
- シナモンパウダー - You can adjust the amount of cinnamon in this recipe to make it stronger or milder, however you like it.

- 無塩バター - You may be wondering why we use unsalted butter if we're adding salt anyways. It is because the amount of salt that is in salted butter varies by brand. So this way we can ensure getting the same outcome every time. However, you can use salted butter in this recipe. Just omit the additional salt if you do.

Add all of the ingredients into the bowl of your stand mixer. Using a paddle attachment, start mixing slowly for a moment just so the powders have a chance to incorporate without exploding all over your countertop.
Turn the speed up to medium-high and whip for at least 4 minutes, until the butter has lightened and become soft and fluffy. Scrape down the bowl as needed.
キッチングッズ
I made this butter using a スタンドミキサー because it does require quite a bit of whipping. But you could make it using a hand mixer, or even mixing by hand if you are feeling up to a bit of elbow exercise. The key is that the butter has to be whipped until it becomes noticeably lighter in colour and fluffy.
It would also be helpful to have a ゴムベラ to scrape down the bowl as you go.

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 day or in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. You can also freeze it for up to 4 months.
コツ: Spoon the butter into an ice cube tray before freezing. Once frozen, transfer the cubes of cinnamon sugar butter into a freezer bag for easy storage. This way you can thaw individual portions rather than having to thaw an entire log of butter.
Thaw in the refrigerator overnight.
