Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

This delightful edible cookie dough is completely safe to eat and tastes delicious - just like out of my grandma's mixing bowl.



1 1/4 cup (150 g) 中力粉

½カップ (115 g) 無塩バター、室温に戻しておく

½カップ (100 g) light brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup (50 g) グラニュー糖

1 1/2 tablespoon heavy cream

1 1/2 teaspoons バニラエキストラクト

1/8 teaspoon

⅓カップ (60 g) mini chocolate chips


Preheat your oven to 350°F / 175°C. Spread the flour onto a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes then set out and let cool completely.

In a stand mixer equipped with a paddle attachment, whip the butter together with the brown and granulated sugars for about 4 minutes on medium speed until really pale and fluffy.

Reduce the speed to low and mix in the cream and vanilla. Then add in the flour and salt and mix until just fully mixed in. The dough will be a bit crumbly at this point.

Mix in more cream, just 1 teaspoon at a time, until the dough gathers together to resemble cookie dough. For me this is usually 1-2 teaspoons. Then mix in the chocolate chips until dispersed throughout. Your edible cookie dough is now ready to be enjoyed.


This recipe will make the equivalent of about 24 small cookies but in dough form.

I do not recommend baking this cookie dough as it is not formulated for that.
