These Easter smoothies look like carrots, but they are actually tropical fruit smoothies with matcha and mango flavours. A creamy matcha banana smoothie is layered on top of slushy mango. You will find this Easter treat to be delicious, easy to make, and sooo much better for you than the usual, sugary Easter things.
How to make Matcha Mango Easter Smoothies
The only prep that these smoothies require you to do ahead of time is slicing and freezing a banana. Freeze the slices on a パーチメント紙 covered tray. I make extra and transfer them once frozen to a freezer bag for the next time I might need them.
Now on to the smoothies. Make the green layer first by liquifying the ingredients together in a blender. Pour the green smoothie into a bowl and place it in the fridge until you need it.
Next, purée the orange layer ingredients together. Spoon the orange smoothie evenly into two martini glasses. Then gently spoon the green smoothie on top. Garnish them with pretty sprigs of mint. I also used decorative green sugar balls, but I don't think they're necessary at all.
Full disclosure, I was home alone when I made these and I drank both of them. Zero regrets. Would do again. And my extra frozen bananas will be going to use next weekend when I whip some of these up for Easter brunch.

Matcha Smoothie:
1 medium-size, ripe banana (sliced & frozen)
⅓ カップ (82 g) coconut yogurt
⅛ cup (30 ml) orange juice
1 小さじ matcha powder
Mango Smoothie:
1カップ (140 g) frozen mango chunks
⅓ カップ (80 ml) orange juice
2 大さじ coconut yogurt

Ahead of time, prepare the banana by slicing and freezing it on a パーチメント紙 covered tray.
Liquify 抹茶 layer ingredients together in a blender. Pour it into a small bowl and set in the fridge until needed.
Rinse the blender, then purée the mango layer ingredients together.
Spoon the mango smoothie evenly into two martini glasses. Gently spoon the 抹茶 smoothie on top. Garnish each with a sprig of mint.
